Earl Maupins' Obituary
Earl Anthony Maupins, 93, of Sedalia passed onto Glory on Friday January 10, 2014 at his home. Funeral services will be held Saturday January 18, 2014 at 1 pm at Taylor Chapel in Sedalia. The visitation will be held from 12-1 pm at the church on Saturday.
Mr. Earl A. Maupins was born April 18, 1920 in Tipton, MO to the late Albert and Delfia Hunter Maupins.
He attended school and graduated from HarrisonHigh School in Tipton, MO. He later enlisted in the United States Army serving in the Korean War.
After the military Mr. Earl worked for Ford Motor Co. in Tipton, MO until he moved to Sedalia, MO where he worked in the automotive industry until his retirement.
Earl was married to Mrs. Bertha Clark Maupins who preceded him in death along with five brothers and six sisters. Mr. Earl was a member of Taylor Chapel Church.
He leaves to cherish his memories, Nephew Raymond Maupins of the home, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He also leaves one special friend of the family Morrece Poindexter.
