Dorothy Diane Strobel's Obituary
Dorothy Diane (Holmes) 'Dee Dee" Strobel, of Fulton went to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday, November 11,2019, at her home, surrounded by her daughters. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019, at 1:00 PM at the First Assembly of God Church in Fulton, MO, visitation will be from 11-1PM Saturday at the church.
Dorothy was born on July 3, 1944 to the late Warren Holmes and Lena Mae(McDonald) West. Dorothy graduated from Fulton High School. Dorothy worked as a waitress at the Poplar Tree Restaurant in Kingdom City, then later as a housekeeper at Callaway Hospital. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren watching Family Feud and listening to Elvis.
She will be lovingly missed by her daughters Agness Dickens and Tammy Rybolt both of Auxvasse, MO, Vickey Clark of Camdenton, MO, and Crystal Strobel of Fulton, MO, eleven grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren, one brother William Lee Craighead of Richardson, TX, several nieces and nephews.
Dorothy was preceded in death by a son Andy Lee, her parents and her grandparents.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Dorothy Strobel Memorial Fund in care of Agness Dickens at United Security Bank, P.O. Box 127, Auxvasse, MO 65231.
