Her personal and professional path led her to many places including Colorado, Missouri, Texas, California, Massachusetts, Alaska, and Denmark. She began her career as a key punch operator with MFA Insurance, evolving into Data Processing, Software Development, Software Instructor, and Technical Writing and Editing. She achieved her Associate Degree in Computer Science from Midland Community College while working full time and raising a family. She has always been someone who loved being of service to others. She developed a passion for finding alternative modalities for supporting our natural ability to connect with our higher self and to realize self-healing. She became a Reiki Master, Licensed Hypnotist specializing in Hypnobirthing, as well as PSYCK-K Facilitator. She never stopped searching for new and restorative ways to help people live more fulfilling lives as their authentic selves. She devoted her life to searching for her spiritual truth and discovered what aligned with her Divine consciousness. She found community, connection, love, peace, and an invigorated sense of service within her Unity family. She had so much love to give to everyone she met. She was an inviting, inspiring, joyful, and dynamic woman. She had a deep sense of compassion, empathy, and infinite grace for her family, friends, and even complete strangers. She cheered for, counseled, laughed and cried with so many people she crossed paths with. She truly embodied the spirit of oneness, JOY, and Divinity. Her light and legacy will continue to shine brightly through those she touched. Dorothy loved horses, her dogs and cats, music, and rainbows. She loved her peaceful property and the beautiful wood ceiling her favorite youngest son lovingly installed in her home, her happy place. She loved all things Wizard of Oz and enjoyed picking out the perfect mug for her daily cup of coffee. Above all she loved her family. She was faithful to them and blessed them with her undying grace. She did her best to ensure her children and family were cared for and loved even as she transitioned from her body.
