To the family of Dorothy Crum, I send you my condolences. Ms. Crum is asleep until Jesus says this at Jo. 5:28,29 “Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.” Our dead loved ones will be raised up from the grave to life here on the earth. It is a wonderful promise from our heavenly father Jehovah God. I look so forward to seeing my loved ones as well as Ms. Crum.
May Jehovah God continue to strenghen and keep you during this time.

I am saddened by the news of Dorothy’s death. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends during this time of loss.
Dorothy was truly an angel to all who passed through her life. She set the bar for excellence in foodservice at the University of Missouri-Columbia Main Kitchen. She mentored everyone who worked there. She was there for me when I needed her. She taught me “the ropes.” She made a difference in my life. And, she made the best fried chicken livers ever served anywhere on this planet.
May She Rest in the Peace that Passeth Understanding.

I worked with Dorothy at the Med Center as a college lad working my way through school in 1975 to 1977. She was a mentor and friend, taking me under her wing and watching out for me like I was her own. She made the work day fun, but took her work and the quality of the food seriously and with great pride. The fact that I still can vividly recall her and her kindness and patience, 35 years later, is tesimony to her integrity and soul. May she rest in peace. She was a good person. Bruce Norman

God is truly good. I know he has called Dot home to sit with the other angels. She had a heart as big as all outdoors. If a stray landed on her doorstep it was as good as “in” She loved cats, dogs and people.
I can’t remember exactly when or how we actually became friends. I only know we have been best friends since I was 16 years old.
In 64 years .we never “fell out” as friends sometimes do . We went on double-dates, shopped together, cooked and shared many a meal together, and laughed a lot, She was a loving :aunt Dot to my children..
I moved away from Columbia and we kept in touch by phone. Whenever I came back for a visit I would stop in Columbia and see Dot. It grieves me that I was not in town to see her one last time. Everyone would be blessed to have had such a friend..
I thank God she suffers no longer.
