Diana was born March 15, 1948 in Fayette, Mo., the son of David Alvis Sr., and Margaret Alvis. She graduated from Fayette High School in 1966. She went on to work in the nursing field for over 30 years at University Hospital and Regional Hospital. After her time in nursing she ran her own personal day care service and worked in Home health care.
Diana loved her son, family and friends deeply. She was a woman with a servant’s heart. Her passion was to help those in their time of need. Whether it was family or friends she was always there. She was the one you could always talk to. A lady who was always on the go, but yet still found time for others. She kept it real! Her standout voice and personality will never be forgotten. Her loving kindness shall be forever missed!
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving son Lance Gregory of Columbia, Mo., one brother David(Sybil) Alvis of St. Louis, Mo., three sisters Janice Eubanks and Lealure Tindall both of Fayette, Mo., and Sharon Alvis of Columbia, Mo., and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
