Mother Mable, Veda, Keithy, and Family, Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal! Hold on to God’s unchanging hand! We all fall short, and make mistakes, however one instance does not erase nor change how wonderful of a person Derrick was. Our hearts ache for you, and us all, as we have lost yet another one of our soldiers. Please remember that our loss is Heavens gain, and that nothing or no one will ever change the image of what we knew Derrick to be. Family, My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Derrick and I talked via Facebook recently and I was elated to hear from him, like old times my little brother. Please know I and others have fond memories of Derrick. No one can take those away. Hold onto God’s unchanging hand. It is in times like these He holds us up, often carrying us most of the way.
