Dennis Mitchell Farris' Obituary
Dennis Mitchell Farris, 63, of Boonville, MO, passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at his home surrounded by his loved ones. A visitation followed by celebration of life services will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at the H.T. May and Son Funeral Home from 12:30 PM to 2:15 PM. Burial with military honors will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery. Dennis Farris was born July 23, 1958, in Independence, MO the son of James A Farris and Janet E. Howe Farris. Dennis was a proud 20-year Veteran of the United States Army. He loved spending time with his family, and he also loved watching westerns especially Gunsmoke. He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan. He loved hanging out with his fur babies Bentley and Lady.
He married the love of his life Sara Farris on January 14, 2012.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Sara Kay Schnell Farris, his father James Farris of Boonville, MO, two sons Jeffrey (Bobby) of Tampa, FL, and Todd Farris of the state of Louisville, KY. one sister Dottie Branch (Roy) of Russellville, MO, one brother James A. "Tony" Farris (Jackie Brown) of Grandview, MO, and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
The family suggests memorials to St. Jude Children's Hospital T2T Tunnels Towers.
