Deniece Vaughn-McCaleb's Obituary
Deniece Vaughn-McCaleb, 35 of Fulton, MO, passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at the University of Missouri Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 1PM at the Southside Baptist church in Fulton at 1PM. Visitation will be from 11-1PM Saturday at the church. First Lady Deniece Vaughn-McCaleb was born on May 3, 1986 to Mother Cheryl Wilson in Fulton, MO. She was united in Holy Matrimony to Pastor Melvin McCaleb Sr. on June 2, 2012. First Lady Deniece received her Heavenly wings on January 11, 2022. Deniece received the Lord at a very early age under Pastor Cato Sims of the United Methodist Church in Fulton, MO. Deniece was a member of the @nd Christian Church of Vandalia, MO under the leadership of her husband Pastor Melvin McCaleb Sr. along with other churches that she attended were the 2nd Christian Church of Fulton, Joshua House Church of Jefferson City, MO and the Church of God in Christ.
Sister Deniece had a compassion for loving others. She was a faithful care giver and a hard worker in whatever job she did. She was truly the backbone of her family and always looked out for all her loved ones. She was an avid of sporting events and was always there for all her children sporting events. Lady Deniece had a passion for serving and helping others unselfishly both inside and outside her home and the surrounding communities.
Lady Deniece received her GED, CNA, CMA and her CMT licenses. She also served as a transportation tech at Bridgeway Facility in Fulton, MO. She was also currently enrolled at the Bell Brown Nursing Academy where she was pursuing her Phlebotomy License on the way to becoming an RN.
She leaves to cherish her memory her mother Cheryl Wilson (Robert), her husband Pastor Melvin McCaleb Sr., seven children L'Trevion Vaughn, Ah'Jahre Kemp, Quiara Walton, Xaivier Hayes, Devin McCaleb, Melvin McCaleb Jr., and Alyviah McCaleb, one brother Terrence Vaughn (Raquel), one special brother Michael Edwards (Alina), one sister Roberta Brooks Williams (Trammell) , two grandchildren Khamaree Jackson and Darrious Wells her Godmother Kay Vaughn, a Goddaughter Chazlyn Long, two brothers in laws John and Jerry, three sister in laws Minister Joy, Kerry and Paula, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Brother and Sister Emanuel and Nanie Lou Edwards, her paternal grandparents Brother and Sister Robert Eugene and Lola Vaughn, father and mother-in-law Pastor John and Roberta McCaleb, her uncles Todd Lee and Robert E. Vaughn II, and her brother in law Marcus McDonald.
