Delbert Baker's Obituary
Delbert Baker, 80, of Prairie Home, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2019, at Riverdell Care Center in Boonville. Memorial services will be held on Monday, April 8, 2019 at 2 PM at Santa Fe Trail Baptist Church in Boonville. A visitation will be held from 1-2 PM at the church on Monday. Services will be officiated by Rev. Jon Thoma.
Delbert Wayne Baker was born on January 31, 1939 in Miami, Missouri to Alva and Margaret Gibbon Baker.
Delbert served his country in the United States Navy from 1958 to 1962. On September 30, 1961 he married Edna Baker.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Edna of the home, son Chet Baker (Anita) of Prairie Home, Missouri, Brothers Glen Baker Of N. Kansas City, Missouri, Harold Baker of Center, Missouri, and Larry Baker (Terry) of Lexington, Missouri. He also leaves grandchildren Megun Baker of Columbia, Missouri and Nathan Baker of Ashland, Missouri and great grandchildren Austyn Furlong of Harrisburg, Missouri, Gavyn Mason of Prairie Home, Missouri, Madison Baker of Ashland, Missouri and Benjamin Baker of Ashland, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents and one sister Joyce McKenzie.
