Deborah Balark's Obituary
Deborah Balark, 54, of Independence, Mo., passed away on Thursday, October, 22, 2015 at her home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 30, 2015 at Burns Chapel Freewill Baptist Church in Sedalia, Mo. at 11:00 AM. There will be no visitation.
Deborah Brown Balark received her wings and was called home to glory on October 22nd 2015 at 8:11 a.m. Deborah was born in Chicago, IL on October 24th 1960 to George and Lizzie Brown whom both proceeded her in death. Deborah accepted Christ at an early age, where she joined the Church of Christ and was baptized.
Deborah attended Chicago public schools at Calhoun North and Orr High School, where she received her diploma. Deborah was joined in holy matrimony to Dana Balark Sr. in 1981. Deborah worked as a Chicago public school employee for many years. Deborah touched the hearts of many people and showed others unconditional love, she was known as “Momma Dee”.
Deborah was proceeded in death by her only brother Barry Sr.
Deborah leaves to cherish her memory: Dana Balark Sr.; her children, Erica Cannon (John), Knikia, Dana Jr, Devon, Katrina, Shawn, Nakesha, Dion, Barry Jr., Monique and Daniel, all from Chicago, IL. Her Sister Vivian Windfield (Sylvester) from Chicago IL; sixteen grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way to where I am going.”
