David Carter, 63, of Columbia, Missouri, passed into eternity on Thursday,November 24, 2016, at Harry S. Truman Veterans Hospital in Columbia. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at St. Luke United Methodist Church at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be from 11:00-12:45 PM at the church.
Mr. David Ricardo Carter, 63, of Columbia, Missouri passed Thursday, November 24, 2016. Born July 21, 1953 to Thomas O. Carter and Etta E. Sheley-Carter, they preceded him in death.
David A.K.A. Mud Bone gave his life to Christ, was a member at St. Luke United Methodist Church in Columbia, Missouri.
David was a Navy Veteran, worked at the VA Hospital until his retirement. He enjoyed singing, fishing, dancing, family, and friends.
David leaves to cherish his memory the Love of his life Mary Anne Carter of the home, one daughter Christina Marie Benham, one son Anthony W. Milburn.
Four brothers Robert (Vaneta) Prince, Thomas (LaVonda) Carter III, Bryan Carter (Christey) all of Columbia, and Randy (Lillian) Carter of Colorado Springs.
Two sisters Mary (Bob) White of Columbia and Sandy Oliver of Moberly, long time cousin and friend Marvin (Diana) Sheley, a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
David AKA Mud Bone was preceded in death by two sisters Betty Sue Prince-Tate, Little Etta, one brother Billie Jean. Also preceding him in death Maxine Prince, Pete Prince, and Jamsetta Prince.
