Danny Allphin's Obituary
Danny Lee Allphin, 66, of Boonville, MO, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia. In accordance with his wishes, there will be no services.
Born on December 26, 1957, in Fayette, MO, Danny was the beloved son of Wayne and Velma Allphin. He dedicated many years of his life to working as a heavy equipment operator at the Missouri Sand Plant. On February 14, 1986, he married the love of his life, Carol Newman, in Boonville, MO. Their bond was a source of joy and strength throughout his life.
Danny had a passion for fishing and hunting, but his greatest joy came from spending time with his family and grandchildren. His love and dedication to them were unwavering.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Carol Allphin, of the home, his daughter Michelle Allphin of Kirksville, MO, two stepdaughters, Monica Marsh (Chris) and Melissa Hall, both of Boonville, MO, his sister Barbara Cataldo of Rocheport, MO, and his nephew Jason Karrick. He was a proud grandfather to five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Velma Allphin, his two brothers, Chris Allphin and Alan Allphin, and his grandparents, Phil and Fern Allphin.
Danny's warm heart, love for the outdoors, and devotion to his family will be deeply missed but forever cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
