Cleophas Cobbins' Obituary
Cleophas Cobbins, 79, of Columbia, died Friday, December 18, 2009 at Harry S Truman Veterans Hospital. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 26, 2009 at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church with Rev. Raymond Hayes officiating. Burial will be Monday, December 28, 2009 at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, Mo. Visitation will be from 12-1 Saturday at the church.
Cleophas Cobbins was born June 30, 1930 in Greenwood, MI., the son of Louis and Evalene Cobbins. He was a veteran of the US Army.
Survivors include one son Larry Cobbins of Atlanta, GA., three sisters Eartha Bridgeford of Columbia, Edna Cargile of Grand Rapids, MI., and Mildred Williams of Indianapolis, IN., and several grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister Earnestine Maxie and his parents.
