I knew Chris when he was a student at Immaculate Conception School in Macon and later was his teacher in the SPECTRA program for Gifted Students at Macon School.
Chris was always one of my favorite students. He was smart and funny, determined and hardworking, and was always curious. In short, Chris was a treat to teach. He was even more fun to know outside the classroom.
His courage in the face of the pain of his disease was an inspiration to us all. Everyday brought overwhelming challenges, but Chris never let that stop him.
Thank you, Chris for all you taught me about life.🌺
Ann, Wayne, and brother Clint, please accept our family's deepest sympathy. That young man was such a courageous guy. I remember him mostly from our Holly Circle Child Development Center days. He was the encyclopedia of all dinosaur information and would correct me when I pronounced the dino name wrong. LOL Jacob remembers that he had the best dinosaur collection at his house. Even had some "in their boxes" still. I think of Chris when I make the soft Christmas cookie recipe that you always made for him. The boys remember when he was able to come over to play and have sleepovers. I think my favorite 'At-a-boy' was when Chris showed his first calf at the County Fair. I was so proud of him. Chris had the best attitude and outlived the doctor's expectations by many years. May God wrap his loving arms around you all during this time. Love and Hugs, Glori, Jerod, and Jacob
Chris wasn’t only my friend, but my family. I will miss sharing plants, kitties, and conversations with him. I will miss my #1 partner in crime for teasing Clint and giving him a hard time. I will miss our shared eye rolls behind Clint’s back and all of the laughs. Chris will forever be in my heart, rest in peace friend 🧡 🐈 🔥 🪴 🦕 🌈🪽
Chris was always such a bright member of the flow arts community in Columbia, he radiated positivity.
