On September 11, 1963, in Boonville, MO, Christopher Todd Roper (affectionally known as “Toddy”) was lovingly welcomed into the world by his parents, the late Delouis Roper and Otis Smith.

His boundless energy and determination led him to become a talented handyman who could fix just about anything he put his hands on. Todd loved to cook! His meals were prepared with the love he carried in his heart. He also had a natural gift for cutting hair. He practiced this skill with his son and his nephews. Whether it was cooking, fixing things, or cutting hair, Todd took great pride in keeping everything neat and in order.

Todd lived a life that was as complex as it was colorful. Although his journey wasn’t always easy, those who truly knew him understood his heart. He loved to celebrate and bring people together. Toddy had a smile that could light up any room, and he possessed an unforgettable charm. Though his life carried its share of challenges, Todd’s story does not end there. We find comfort in knowing that he is finally and completely free! Free from illness, free from the burdens and struggles he carried within. His spirit is no longer confined . . . He is at peace that surpasses all understanding. His memory will live in our hearts forever.
