Charles Warrick's Obituary
Charles Albert Warrick, Sr. went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, July 1, 2012 at King Manor Care & Rehab. Center, Neptune, NJ.
Charles was born on July 15, 1923 to the late Harry and Georgia (Crump) Warrick in Bunceton, MO.
He was self-employed as a carpenter and builder for over sixty years. As a member of The Second Baptist Church, Asbury Park NJ, he served on the Trustee Board for forty-eight years and a member of the senior and men’s choirs for fifty-five years. He was a past member of St. Paul’s Masonic Lodge #59 where he served as Worshipful Master. Charles served in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by sisters:
Helen Warrick, Georgia Bush, Alfern Lincoln, and Lucille Foster, brothers: Sylvester, Melvin, Harold, Van, Cleophis, Willie and a son Edward.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of sixty-seven years, Doris (Cottman) Warrick, daughter Charlotte Mack (Ernest) CT. and son Charles Jr. OR. He also leaves sisters: Audrey Warrick, CA,
Doris Kenney (Carl) MO. and brother Lucius Warrick, MO. Charles also leaves to God’s care, eight grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at 10:00 am at the Second Baptist Church, Asbury Park, NJ.
