Charles Anderson, 60, of Columbia, MO, passed away on Thursday, July 18 at Columbia Post Acute Care Center. Arrangements are pending. Charles Anderson departed this life on Thursday, July 18, 2019, in Columbia, MO.
Charles was born on April 30, 1959 in St. Louis, MO, the son of Ella Mae McBride and Walter Anderson Sr. His mother preceded him in death. Charles and his siblings were raised by their grandparents Eva and Matthew McBride in Kinloch, MO. Later they all moved to Berkeley, MO. Charles was also preceded in death by both grandparents. Charles was educated in the Airport Elementary School in Berkely, MO.
Charles worked at Columbia College and also the Columbia Daily Tribune. He was a very loving and humorous person that always kept a smile on his face. He was a person that really loved life.
Charles leaves to cherish his memory four siblings Walter (Joselyne) Anderson of Columbia, MO, Elisa Anderson, James Anderson, and Norman Anderson all of Saint Louis, MO, one aunt Patsy Hodges of University City, MO, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
