Chanette Hill-Byndon, 46, of St. Louis, MO, formerly of Columbia, MO, passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at DePaul Hospital. Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at Friendship Baptist Church in Columbia at 3:30 PM.
Chanette Nicole Hill-Byndon, age 46 was called home to be with the Lord on July 29th, 2023. She was born August 17th, 1976, in Kennett, MO to Floree Smith-Hill and James Homer Parker. She gave her life to the Lord as a young adult. She attended Rising Star Baptist Church in St. Louis, MO where she attended until her death. She graduated with honors; she was a pharmacy technician at Walgreens, she worked as a bank teller, and she was a manager at Casey's and at Breaktime, and she also worked for Mobile on The Run. She was a loving, caring, high-spirited person. Chanette was a people person; she loved her family and friends she would move mountains for anyone that she could. She was a dedicated sister and aunt. She treasured her family, friends and loved ones. She embraced every moment she spent with family. She was free-spirited and loved life, as she was full of life. There was never a dull or boring moment being with her, she was the life of the party. Her life was a living example of one of her favorite bible verses, Ephesians 4:32 "And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ." She loved the Lord, and she prayed all the time.
Chanette is survived by her husband (Fred Byndon), her siblings; Maxine Smith of Hayti, MO; Melvene Thomas, Bobby Smith, Latricia Garcia of Columbia, MO; James Lumpkins Jr, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. A host of Aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins; a special friend who meant a lot to her; John Price of St. Louis, MO.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Floree Smith-Hill; Father James H Parker, sister Sheila Ann Lumpkins; Nephew Rodney Maxwell; Cortez (Bucky) and a host of relatives and friends.
