Cassandra Ann Harris, 54, of Marshall, Missouri passed away Saturday, November 6th, 2021 in Columbia, Missouri. Services will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Marshall, Missouri. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the church on Saturday.
Cassandra Ann Harris was born June 9th, 1967 in Marshall, Missouri, the daughter of Betty Jean Harrell and Step father Ollie Lee Harrell Biological daughter of Logan Bubby Laster step father and father both proceeded her in death
Cassandra Ann Harris grew up in the Marshall Missouri, she was the second child of four siblings with the union of Betty and Ollie Harrell. Cassandra attended and graduated Marshall High School. Cassandra surrendered her life to Christ at a young age and had a very a passionate love for the LORD. With a voice anointed from GOD himself she would spend many years of Ministering to many through song and praises. One of her favorite songs was If you ever need a friend, I recommend Jesus. Cassandra was a loving mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She never let a moment slip away to spread joy, laughter and love. She was pillar at winning souls over for the LORD with her strong passion for sharing the love of GOD. She had a heart of gold that touched many people all across the world.
Cassandra Harris was married to Johnny Shafer. She had two children Rebecca Harris (34) and Amanda Harris (32)
Cassandra later relocated to Columbia, Missouri where she pursed a career at the Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans' Hospital (VA). Cassandra continued to minister and share her devotion to our savior. Cassandra was non judge mental and touched many souls, and had the utmost empathy. She continued to reside in Columbia Mo until her transition to Heaven, everlasting life.
She leaves to cherish precious memories of her daughters Rebecca Harris, 34, of Columbia, Missouri, Amanda Harris, 32, of Sioux, Iowa. Five grandchildren Zackariah Harris, Ja’Niah Harris, Rashawn Williams, Taylen Holmes and a unborn bundle. Her siblings, Roy T. Harris, 56, of Atlanta Georgia, Sheila Stephenson, 56, of Marshall Missouri, Ronald Stephenson, 49, of Marshall Missouri, Michael Harris, 51, of Marshall Missouri, Marshinna Williams, 46, of Kansas City, Missouri and Courtney Butner of Marshall, Missouri. Her mother Betty Harrell of Marshall, Missouri, two great nieces and a nephew, Aunts, Uncles, and many many friends. Our sweet angel will continue to bless us.
