Carrie M. Redden's Obituary
Carrie M. Redden, 75, of Columbia, passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at Boone Hospital in Columbia. Services will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at 1:00 PM at St. Luke United Methodist Church in Columbia. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at St. Luke on Thursday.
Carrie Mae Blueitt Redden was born on May 26, 1946, to Fred and Estell Blueitt.
She loved reading books, gardening, watching baseball and volunteering at the local food pantry.
she leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Maceann Palmer (Brandon, sons Herman Johnson (Beverly), Damon Johnson and Torrey Johnson all of Columbia, Missouri. She also leaves three sisters: Marcella Lige, Leneta Dixon and Patricia Blueitt all of Columbia, Missouri, three brothers: Ernest Blueitt of Denver, Colorado, Fred Blueitt Jr. and Bennie Blueitt both of Columbia, Missouri, one Aunt Mary Turner of Jefferson City, Missouri, four grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Carrie leaves behind a very special granddaughter Cherelle King, who provided care for her grandmother every day for three months.
She was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Estell Blueitt, husband Elmer Redden, brother Major Blueitt, sister Risa Warrick and grandson Randall King II.
