Carolyn "Snooks" Hurt's Obituary
Carolyn "Snooks" Hurt, 79, of Boonville, Missouri, entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 12, 2016, at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2016, at 1 PM at the H.T. May and Son Funeral Home in Boonville. The visitation will be held from 11 AM - 1 PM at the funeral home on Thursday.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the American Cancer Association.
Carolyn was born on June 7, 1937, to John Melvin Carver and Betty Ann Moore in Bunceton, Missouri.
Carolyn was an avid bowler along with her husband Hugh Hurt.
Carolyn leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Hugh Harvey Hurt, son Mitchell Hurt (Cynthia) of Boonville, Missouri, daughter Terri Smith (Dale) of Boonville, Missouri, and sister Marilyn Carver of Bunceton, Missouri. She also leaves grandchildren Tory Hurt (Rachel), Teri Lynn Hurt, Savannah Smith, and great grandchild Carolyn Jean Hurt.
She was preceded in death by her parents John and Betty Carver, and sister Grace Day.
