Carla Williams' Obituary
Carla Williams, 66, of Columbia, MO, formerly of Boonville, MO, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at the University of Missouri Hospital. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at the H.T. May and Son Funeral Home. at 10:00 AM.
Surrounded by her loving family, Carla Yvonne Williams 66, of Columbia, MO, formerly of Boonville, MO passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at the University of Missouri Hospital.
Born on August 18, 1959, in Boonville, MO. She was the daughter of Maxine Burnham and Richard L. Williams. She attended Boonville schools and remained closely connected to friends and family throughout her life. Though Boonville was always home in her heart, she made her life in Columbia for approximately 30 years, where she shared 20 years of her life with her lifelong partner, Kenny Broadus.
Carla is survived by her life- long partner, Kenny Broadus, her sister Cristine Williams, her brothers, Robert Burnham, Anthony (Leilani) Burnham, Vincent Williams, Cory Coleman, and Judd Williams.Carla also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Carla was preceded death by her parents, Richard L. Williams, Maxine Burnham, her paternal grandmother Margaret Williams, her sister Vivian Burnham, her brothers, William Burnham, David Williams, Richard DeWayne Burnham, Eric Coleman, and nephew Tyrone Burnham-Lucas.
Carla “Dink” was a loving sister, aunt, and friend whose kindness and strength touched the lives of many. Though she had no children of her own, she was “Aunt Carla” to many and loved deeply by all who knew her. She will be remembered for her warm heart, unconditional love for her family, and the joy she brought to those around her. Music was one of her greatest joys, and it was always playing in the background, filling her space with comfort and life.
Her memory will forever be cherished by those who know and love her.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 16, 2026, at H.T. May and Sons Funeral Home in Boonville, MO. There will be no repass following the service.
