Carl Ginter's Obituary
Carl Marvin Ginter, 62, of Columbia, Missouri passed away on Monday, November 3rd at his home in Columbia. Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 15th, 2025, at 1pm at H.T May and Sons Funeral Home in Boonville, Missouri.
Carl was born on July 6th, 1963, in Kansas City, KS, to parents Earl and Eleanor Ginter. Early in life, Carl was a certified welder earning his certification from State Fair Community College. Carl was an avid watercolor and sketch artist often doing many sketches and paintings for his family, including the Ginter genealogy book. Twenty of his drawings were selected by the Historical Society of Missouri to keep in their archives and he had around seventy-five framed drawings and paintings on display last January at Calvary Episcopal Church in Columbia, and articles written about his artwork in Columbia Missourian.
He is survived by one brother, Joe Ginter of Hartsburg, Missouri, two sisters, Melisa Gentry, and Jayna Friedrich, both of Boonville, Missouri, two stepbrothers, Michael and Jimi Johnson, both of Kansas City, Missouri, and a stepsister, Lana Johnson of Columbia, Missouri.
Carl was preceded in death by his father, Earl Ginter, his mother, Eleanor Ginter, brother, Roger Ginter, and stepmother, Janie Ginter.
