Candice Rogers' Obituary
Candice Rogers, 37, of Columbia, MO passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at the University of Missouri Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021 at St. Luke United Methodist Church at 1PM. Visitation will be from 12-1 Friday at the church.
Candice Vontrea Rogers was born February 8, 1984 at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, TX to Lucille U. Robinson and Richard E. Rogers. She confessed her love for God at an early age. Candice had love for everyone she met. She touched the hearts of everyone she came in contact with. Her genuine smile was always on her face whether sad or happy. Candice was a free spirit. She was a hard worker and highly intelligent. She graduated from Nursing School. She remained on the President and Dean's List throughout her studies with a 4.0 GPA. She was set to graduate in June 2022. She loved the elderly and children. Her children and siblings were her pride and joy.
Candice leaves to mourn her passing four children Shiann Marie Wilson, Trinity Jane Washington, Aaron King Jr., and Marteaz King, two God Sisters LaRhonda Jones and Kenyetta Jones(Indiana), four siblings Jalil Rogers, Brennesia Rogers, Mark Anthony Shield Jr., and Jada Shields all of Columbia, MO, her mothers Lucille Robinson and her stepdad Richard Rogers, and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father Henry Kindred, two grandmothers, two aunts and two uncles.
