Calvin F. Kelly Sr.'s Obituary
Calvin F. Kelly, 76, of Columbia , answered the call of Jesus on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Southhampton Place. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church at 11:00 am. Visitation will be from 10-11 am Thursday at the church. Burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Calvin was born on March 13, 1936 in Bunceton, Mo. to Cecil and Elsie Fields Kelly. He moved to Columbia and he married Betty Louise Williams in 1965 and she preceded in August 1994. He married Shirley Bell on October 28, 1995.
He was a longtime employee of Rangeline Auto Parts. He retired in 2000. Calvin was baptized at St. Luke’s United Methodist church where he was a member.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Shirley of the home. eight children, Linda Gibson, Daryl Williams, Ronnie Williams(Connie), Calvin Kelly Jr., Dana Kelly, Charles Kelly, all of Columbia, Mark Kelly(Debra) of Sedalia, Sharon Atkinson(Antonio) of Jackson, NC., three step-children, Sterret Bell(Kim) of Texas City, Tx., Tanya Bell of Columbia and Eric Bell of Fulton., two sisters Cordelia Kelly of Sedalia, and Anna Kelly of Columbia, 33 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, 4 sister-in-laws Genevieve Coil, Springfield, IL., Marjorie Johnsonof Chicago, IL., Frances Kelly of Columbia, and Charlotte Matthews of Denver, CO., four brother-in-laws, Irvin , Joseph, Don and PAyton Matthews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Betty Kelly, two brothers Charles and James Kelly fives sisters, Lucille, Helen, Barbara, Maxine and Jacqueline.
