Brandon R. Coleman's Obituary
Brandon R. Coleman, 25, of Columbia was called from labor to reward on Sunday, May 19, 2013 at University of Missouri Hospital. Funeral services will be held Saturday May 25, 2013 at 10:30 am at Second Missionary Baptist Church in Columbia. Visitation will be from 9:30-10:30 am at the church.
Brandon departed this life at University Hospital on May 19th 2013. He was born November 11th 1987 in Columbia Missouri to Winona Coleman Broadus (James) and Larry R. Lee (Brenda). He graduated in 2006 from Hickman High School, Brandon had a deep love for football and played for the Hickman “Kewpies” every season during the three years he attended Hickman High. He was extremely proud to have been a part of the team when they won the 2004 State Championship which earned them not only the trophy but in addition each player received a championship ring. Brandon also had a second love; his Dodge Charger which he took great pride in maintaining. Brandon was a very social person who made friends very easily and exhibited extreme Loyalty to all he considered a friend. Brandon was employed by the University of Missouri’s Athletic Department. He loved his job and spoke highly of the staff and administration in the department. Brandon attended Second Missionary Baptist Church as a youth.
Brandon leaves to cherish his memory his mother Winona Coleman-Broadus, Stepfather (James Broadus) Father Larry R. Lee (Brenda), Loving Grandmother Mary Brown, two Grandfathers; Obie Brown and James R. Coleman Sr., Sister Billie Lynn Wilson, Stepbrothers Derek Broadus and Kelvin Bush Stepsisters Shelley Petty and Augusta Bush uncles Carlos Buckner, James “Jimmy” Coleman (Diane), aunts Janie Coleman, Paula “Susie” Lee (Kelly), One great uncle, Alvin “Buck” Lawson and a multitude of Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and friends.
Brandon was preceded in death by his Grandparents Lawrence and Stella Mae Lee and one aunt Lamay Lou.
