Bobbie Johnson, 61, of Fayette was welcomed into the arms of Jesus at his home on Wednesday, January 18, 2017. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2017, at 1 PM at Linn Memorial United Methodist Church in Fayette. The visitation will be held from 12 PM to 1 PM at the church.
Bobbie R. Johnson was born on December 28, 1955, in St. Louis, Missouri to Leon and Mary Alice Johnson.
Bobbie leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Gloria Johnson of Fayette, mother Mary Alice Johnson of Columbia, daughters Sonya Yvonne Johnson of Columbia, Kelly Elaine Levy of Philadelphia, PA, and Elizabeth Shiloh Johnson of Columbia. He also leaves siblings Charles Johnson of Los Angeles, CA and Eleanor Maupins of Tulsa, OK, grandchildren Zearia Brishay McQuitty, Jaevon Leonte McQuitty, Kerissa Luren Kelsea, and Quilly Levy III, and many of relatives and friends.
Bobbie was preceded in death by his father Leon Johnson, son Bobbie Leon Johnson, and sister Carmen French.
