Dear Monica,
I just learned of your mother’s passing. I did not know your mother but knew of her work on behalf of students in our school district. In the years that I’ve known you, I’ve always sensed your mother’s presence in your life — guiding and helping you. I believe part of the grace you have shown in your work and your relationships is the result your mother modeled for you.
Your mother is surely missed and just as certain, she is present through you and all the people she touched. My deepest condolences to you and your husband.
Sincerely, Randall
Dear Monica Rae,
On behalf of the the Thrower and Anderson family, I would like to express our condolences in the the loss of your mother. As a child, I recall your parents, Mrs. Beulah Mae Ralph, and Mr. Kenneth Ralph being pleasant neighbors. Your maternal aunt, Ms. Mary Jane Davis, was also a wonderful and caring neighbor.
Mrs. Ralph made significant changes in the Columbia Public School District. May the good Lord bless and keep you throught your days.

Monica & Tony, Mrs. Ralph was such a beautiful lady inside & out. She had the most beautiful smile and always smiled at you when you saw her. My deepest sympathy to you. Jehovah God tells us through his word the bible that Jo. 5:28,29 says this “Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, those who practiced vile things to a resurrrection of judgment.” So Mrs. Ralph and such other loved ones of ours, have a hope to live forever on the earth. We will not have to worry about getting sick, growing old, and dying. Such a wonderful, wonderful prospect for us to look forward to. May Jehovah continue to bless and keep you both.

I pray God’s blessings and comfort to you and your family during this time. Remember and take joy in the good times you shared with Mrs. Ralph. We always teased each other about which one had the more beautiful red coat. I am just smiling remembering the fun times we had together. God has called her to a more peaceful place. I thank God for letting me share space with an outstanding and spiritual role model: Mrs. Ralph. Peace be with you.
