Bernice Roseman's Obituary
Bernice Roseman, 78, of Columbia, formerly of Sedalia, transitioned into eternity on Sunday, December 12, 2010 at University Hospital in Columbia. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Wards Memorial Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Friday at Alexander-May Funeral Home in Sedalia.
Bernice Roseman was born January 31, 1932 in Georgetown, Mo. the daughter of Lydia Thuston and Tilman Frye. She was a member of the Wards Memorial Missionary Baptist Church. She married Johnnie Roseman Jr. who preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her memory three daughters Connie Ramsey(Nathaniel) Aylett, VA., Lucille Green and Phyllis Hawthorne(William) both of Columbia, Mo., two sons Douglas Roseman of Antioch. CA., and David Roseman(Jada) of Oakland. CA., one brother Harrison Frye(Lillian) of Sedalia, Mo., and Rose Madden(CD) of Kansas City, Mo., eight grandchildren Kimberly, Constance, Michael, Ronald(Jet), Bryan, Jennifer, Ashley and Johnnie of whom she loved like her own children, twelve great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Bernice was preceded in death by her parents, her son, three sisters and a brother.
