Bayne and I played briefly in a band at the NO Playboy Club. He was intelligent, and a great bass player. But what remember most is that he was the kindest human being I ever knew. Sadly, we lost touch, but I remember him well.

I’m so sorry to hear about the passing of Bayne. Joan was such a dear friend and I know Bayne was so devoted to Joan’s care. I remember him beaming with pride when showing the work he had done with their beautiful home. There are no words that can express how sorry I am. I would like to express my deepest sympathy to their daughters, family and friends. I will keep you in my prayers during this difficult time.
I knew Bayne from his career in mental health. His devotion & passion for the people he served was well known; wished I had spent more time with him. I knew his wife, Joan, even better and worked with her at DMH. He took such good care of her before she died. My sincere condolences and love to their daughters and other family members. Double heartbreaking experience.
