Barbara Lee Moses, 83, of Lexington, MO passed away on Friday, June 28, 2019, at Research Hospital in Kansas City, MO. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 7, 2019, at Second Baptist Church in Lexington, MO at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be from 1-2 PM Sunday at the church.
Barbara Lee (Foy) Moses, 83 of Kansas City, MO peacefully passed away on June 28, 2019 at Research Medical Center surrounded by family.
Barbara was born September 30, 1935 in Higginsville, MO to Hattie Crockett and Ralph Foy whom both preceded her in death. She was the only child from this union. She was also proceeded in death by her husbands David Moses, Fred Alonzo Gordon and her grandson Fred Alonzo Gordon, II.
Throughout Barbara’s life she lived in Higginsville, Henrietta, Lexington, Kansas City, Raytown and Grandview, MO. She attended school in Kansas City, MO and was committed to ensuring her children obtained an education.
She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters: Marilyn Phillips of Grandview, MO; and Dana Moses-Wilson (Donnie Wilson son-in-law) of Raytown, MO; three sons: Freddie Gordon of Lexington, MO; Tracy Gordon of Columbia, MO and Darren Gordon of Kansas City, MO; host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins (Patricia Littleton; Debra Bass) and friends.
