Asia Plagman's Obituary
Asia Plagman, 22, of Columbia, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2019, at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019, at Unity Church 1600 West Broadway at 2:30 PM. There will be no visitation.
God opened the Gates of Heaven and welcomed Asia home on November 29, 2019. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family and friends during the last days of her life. Asia’s beautiful spirit, spunkiness, and wit will always be fondly remembered by her loved ones.
Asia touched many lives by striving to be a friend to all. She had a loving heart and an empathetic soul. She loved to read and enjoyed writing. And her exemplary work ethic inspired in her a fierce sense of independence.
She leaves to cherish her memory her mother Melody Plagman, her father Earl Nevels, her loving and supportive grandmother Rexene Plagman, her brothers Jalen Nevels and Marcus (Sarah) Jones, her sisters Rachel Jones, Janae Estill, Whitney McKee along with a beloved host of additional family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Coletta Nevels and her maternal grandfather David Plagman.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019 from 2:30 - 4:00 PM at Unity Church, 1600 West Broadway, Columbia, MO 65203. Contributions to her Memorial Fund may be made to Mary Clements.
