Love you Mom!!! Me and the girls are celebrating you today and always!!!!
Momma Ardella was such a wonderful person. I will never forget when my husband picked her up to take her to an appointment and after the appointment she wanted to go to the bank!!!! This was the second time he had taken her to an appointment. The appointment went fine and then momma was like can you take me to the bank, "I can't find my 100.00 dollars, I must have given it to Des." So, they went to her bank and when they went in everyone at the bank knew her by first name!!! My husband stood back while she was talking with the banker. The banker asked her how much money and she said "1,000.00 dollars please." My husband was terrified when he heard that, he texted me and was like Des is going to get me!!!! I told him it would be fine and Des would get it taken care of. After leaving the bank she wanted to then go to Popeye's and get some lunch. She must have been to that Popeye's before because some of the employees recognized her. She told the man working "I want the flats and I want the soft ones so that I can eat them." She said, "Don't give me those hard ones." The employee just kept saying "yes maam, yes maam we will take care of you." Then finally they got back to her house, and they ate their lunch together. This was just the start of the Wayne and Momma adventures!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They used to sit together and watch that TV show called "Hell on Wheels."
We definitely enjoyed what time we got to know her!!!! She is going to be missed by many. Desiree, you and your family are in our prayers!!!! We love you all!!!!!

Ms. Ardella was definitely one of a kind. She and my Dad enjoyed a wonderful companionship for 4 years until his transition in 2020. Their love for each other was evident. I have grown to love Ms. Ardella. She was classy, witty, stylish, young at heart and lively. She was a whole VIBE! I am grateful to God that our paths crossed. I know Heaven is all lit up with bling and laughter now that she’s made her entrance.
My prayers are with her one and only daughter Desiree, her granddaughters and all who love her.
Des, you did you Mom proud by sacrificing and honoring her until the end on this side.
Love,
