Andre McBride Garr's Obituary
Andre Cascier Garr,30, of Columbia, Mo., departed this life on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at his home in Columbia. He was surrounded by his mother, grandfather, and loving family who cherished him so dearly. He was born in Columbia to Bonnie and Kenneth Garr on May 17, 1983. He began singing at the age of 5., often accompanying his grandfather Jack McBride to programs and events. He was very active in various school choirs, was baptized at age nine at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. . He graduated from Hickman High in 2001, attended Moberly Junior College and Columbia College for a period. He loved people and working in retail, especially Dillards Store in Columbia.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at CalvaryBaptistChurch in Fulton at 1pm. Visitation will be from 10:30-1pm Wednesday at the church.
In addition to his parents and grandpa, he is survived by his sister Adrianna Garr, his nieces and nephew Anaiyah, Aiyesha, Angelique, Ajayia and J’Vion, who he doted on and helped to raise. His Garr siblings include Kenneth Jeffey West(Cindy), Kenneth Jr.(Kenyette), Kenny Red, Anthony Young, and Jonathan Garr, sisters Latitia Frost, Nichole, Preonica and Mishee Gray and a host of nieces and nephews. He treasured his wonderful. He treasured his wonderful Aunties and Uncles and his sister in love Maya Warren and family.
Preceding him in death was his cherished grandmother Juanita McBride, paternal grandoparents, Bessie and James Garr, stepfather Thomas Cason and paternal uncles Michael and Cascier Garr
