Anderson Harrison Frye Sr., 81 years old from Sedalia passed away on February 8th, 2024, at University Hospital in Columbia, MO.
Born November 1st, 1942, in Sedalia, Missouri. The son of Tillman Frye and Lydia Frye preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death 1 brother Tillman Frye Jr.; sisters Mary Tolliver (Henry), Bernice Roseman (Johnnie), Dorothy Mitchell (Don), Joyce Frye.
Anderson known to most as "Harrison", was a combat veteran in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife Lillan President-Frye of the home; Rose Madden (C.D. preceded); brother of Lillian Yahyah Fruqan, wife Zikia, and Carolyn Moore, husband Marcus. 4 sons, Curtis (Dana) Carter of Sedalia, MO, Ronald Frye of Olathe, KS, Anderson (Jennifer) Frye Jr. of Republic, MO, Sean Frye of Sedalia, MO. 2 God children, DeAndre Smith of Lee's Summit MO and Danielle Foster of Sedalia (deceased). 22 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
Funeral service will be held at Wards Memorial Missionary Baptist Church in Sedalia on February 23rd, 2024, at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends at 10 a.m. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude for all acts of kindness. Arrangements are in care of May Funeral Home. Full military honors will be at Missouri Veterans Cemetery at 2 p.m., in Higginsville.
