Alice Cunningham's Obituary
Alice Cunningham, 78, of Bunceton, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at her home.
Alice Mae Cunningham had a heart as big as a garage sale on a sunny Saturday morning—full of treasures, laughter, and the joy of unexpected discoveries. She was the kind of soul who could spot beauty in the forgotten, charm in the worn, and bring warmth wherever she went.
She found happiness in life’s simplest pleasures: the thrill of a good antique find, the hunt through weekend garage sales, and most of all, being surrounded by those she loved. Whether she was swapping stories over coffee or curled up with her beloved fur babies, Alice lived every day with love, light, and an open heart.
Alice dedicated many years to hard work, first at the Stride Rite Shoe Factory and later at the Isle of Capri Casino. At both places, she built lifelong friendships, shared countless laughs, and brought joy to those around her.
She is survived by her devoted husband, her two loving children, her son-in-law, her two cherished fur babies, and two adored fur grandbabies. Her legacy is one of warmth, deep connection, and a passion for the little things that make life beautiful.
We will miss her laughter, her generosity, and her extraordinary ability to find joy in unexpected places. But her spirit lives on—in every family gathering, every vintage treasure, and every memory shared.
Per Alice’s wishes, no services or flowers will be held. If you would like to honor her memory, please consider a donation to a kidney or heart foundation.
