Aaron Jones' Obituary
Monday, May 27, 2024 in the evening hour at his home in Murfreesboro, TN, Aaron Jones 34, entered into the arms of his heavenly Father. Services will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at 1:00 P.M, at Faith Family Church in Fayette, Missouri. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Saturday at the church. Services will be live streamed at 1:00 PM through the HT May & Son Funeral Home Facebook page and can be found at https://www.facebook.com/htmayfuneralhome.
At midnight on June, 13, 1989, Shelley Black and William Jones welcomed their son, Aaron Wayne Jones into the world in Seattle, WA.
Aaron was a 2007 graduate of Fayette High School. He was employed at Dairy Queen and the Braun Home in Fayette, MO and Nissan Auto Factory in Tennessee.
Aaron, a loving and devoted father welcomed his son, Kah’Mari in 2014, twin daughters, Skylar and Kyndall in 2016 and son, Nasir in 2018.
Aaron was a man who loved his sports. He was an avid fan of the Baltimore Ravens, and the Baltimore Orioles. He was a dedicated LeBron James fan. No special NBA team because wherever LeBron went, Aaron followed.
Aaron is lovingly survived by his parents, Shelley (James) McClinton, Seattle, WA, William “Billy” (Kimberly Horns) Jones of Boonville, MO, his devoted paternal grandparents, Nancy and Donald Jones and his maternal grandparents, Doris and Ronald Black. Aaron will be forever cherished by his children Kah’Mari, Skylar and Kyndall Jones and Nasir Kirksey-Jones his sister, Allina (Ivan) Porter and his God Parents, Crystal Holliewell and Mike Freeman of Seattle, WA.
He also leaves to honor his memory a wealth of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends in Seattle, WA, Baltimore, MD and Missouri. He shared a special relationship with his uncle, Donald Jones, his aunt, Ruth Jones, his uncle William Jones and his cousins Tracy Jones, Danielle Jones and Gabrielle Fournier.
Aaron also leaves to forever love and cherish his memory his best friend/brother Tarron Poindexter, his best friend/sister, Tiffany Cox, Alesia Poindexter to whom he lovingly referred to as “Mama Lish” and Sue Carlson whom he affectionally called “Mama C”.
Awaiting Aaron when he arrived to his heavenly home were his brother Markcus Campbell and his uncle Robert Jones Sr.
Aaron, known to many as “Lil Bill” had a fierce love for game of basketball. His no-look pass on the basketball court was a force to be reckoned with. His sense of humor was pure comedy. Sometimes he would laugh so hard that he just slobbered! Aaron always took great pride and care in his appearance. He always made sure his gym shoes matched his outfit daily. One could only wonder how Aaron managed to keep his slim and trim waistline because he could and would put some food away! He would often say “Can’t NOBODY . . . I don’t care WHO it is, fry chicken like my Granny Nancy!” Aaron was a very proud and loving father. He loved to share the growth and accomplishments of his children. Aaron was passionate about his Lord and Savior, his family and his friends. He truly fit the definition of the name his parents gave him . . . Aaron. He was strong and inspiring even in the darkest of times . . . small in stature but always a mighty warrior.
