I loved Frankie. He is such a pure soul and he always made time no matter what. We had many nights in my backyard with a hookah and a drink talking about everything staring at the stars and watching the cars go by. Frankie had the spirit that anytime you were around him you knew you had a little piece of God near. Frankie was fearless, he was a survivor, an achiever, the absolute best friend you could have, Frankie was a fighter. I am going to miss him, but not too much because I know he made it. He made it to the other side. To be absent from the body is to be with The Lord. Frankie did the work and now he can rest. Rest easy Frankie. Frankie’s memory will live on

Franklin, today, the day of his funeral. There are no words that we can use to express our heartfelt sorrow for you and your family. Life on the assembly line is slow and steady. Where mediocrity is the norm. Franklin personal drive refused to be held back by this. It wasn't enough to build more than the other shifts. Franklin wanted the numbers from our sister factory in Michigan, so he could beat their numbers too. It was just who he was to always strive to be the best.

The last time Franklin and I spoke at work we talked about the Black Mamba. I always told him if he ever got tired of that car I would take it off his hands. And he would always say “That’s not going to happen!“. To put it simply, and with the upmost respect, Franklin was just a good dude. He was hard-working, respectful, a solid gentleman. We truly considered him our brother at Ford motor Company and he will be missed. My most sincere prayers go out to the family. For a Christian death is not an accident. It’s an appointment. He had an appointment and he made it! Rest in victory, my brother!
