Delouis Roper, 72, of Boonville, slept into eternity on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, August 27, 2011 at St. Matthew A.M.E. Church. Burial will be in Boonville Memorial Read Obituary

To the family of Delouis Roper,I send you my condolences. May Jehovah God strenghten you at this time. One day very soon Jehovah God by means of his son Christ Jesus will raise all our dead loved ones from the graves. Is. 33:24 states “no resident will say I am sick”. Rev. 21:4 says for God “will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. the former things have passed away.” Roper family these are just a few of the promises that Jehovah God has made, in which we know they will come true. For Is.55:11 says so my word that goes forth from my mouth will prove to be. It will not return to me witout results, but it will certainly do that in which I have delighted, and it will have certain success in that for which I have sent it.” So our heavenly father Jehovah gives us all of these wonderful things to look forward too in the future by means of his kingdom, the kingdom that we pray for. Christ Jesus will rule over the earth and bring and end to all of
mankinds problems. And remember no sickness, pain, or death will be any longer. What a blessing! What a BLESSING!!!!!!!!
You Take Care Roper Family until the resurrection you will see Delouis again that is a promise from Jehovah God !

My deepest sympathy to the Roper & Lewis Family.
Ms Lois Ann is no longer suffering, she is gone home to rest..
She will be missed tremendously by all that loved her.
She was always so sweet to my family and especially me when I moved away, I could always call her to get information on anyone who was sick or had passed.. Another one of our Water Street family goes home, but she will always be remembered.. Praise God

Our family sends you our deepest Sympathy to your family. Ms. Lois Ann will greatly be missed in our family. She was like our Mother as well. She would give all of us children advice especially when we were wrong and she would tell us the TRUTH rather if it hurt your feelings or not. She was a wonderful woman to know. Mom and Ms. Lois Ann would talk on telephone for hours, just like two good friends and if we did not know where Mom was she would, that’s how good of friends they were. Mom will surely miss her.

To the Roper and Lewis Families
Ms.Delouis will truly be missed. She was a great friend to me; we used to talk every Sunday morning before I went to Sunday School. We would talk for hours, but when it was close to 8 o’clock, she would say “girl it’s almost 8 am we’d better get off this phone so you can get ready for Church”. We often times talked about the “Water Street” days. When I couldn’t remember someone or where someone used to live, she would always know.
My family has deep sorrow for your loss. She was our babysitter, when we were kids. She knew how to keep us in line, for sure.
When I first joined St. Matthews Church, she was there for me all the way. We worked together on the Trustee Board for quite a few years. She was very influential in my Christian walk.
I truly loved her and will truly miss her. Know that God took his gracious angel home.
