Art was an absolutely amazing man I attended and graduated from his umbrella homeschool program Rocky Mountain Christian Academy and Art was an absolute angel he was the sweetest man every And he always belonged in me and motivated me to Be the best art will forever be missed.
Art was an inspiration to all who knew him. He was a faithful servant who loved God and loved people. I will miss his smiling face, but I know that he is with Jesus now and that he has attained his ultimate goal.
Art came into a time in my life where I felt completely broken. I had just been through a heartbreaking divorce and began to wonder if I would ever be able to serve in ministry again. Then I met Art. We began to have coffee together and talk about our shared faith and beliefs and Art invited me to join him in ministry at Church in Aurora. He took me under his wing and believed in me. I grew so much in our time together. I truly don’t know where I would be today without him. I long for the day I join him in eternity but until then I’m thankful for the time I had him as my mentor and friend.

After meeting Art n Pat for the first time I felt the love of Jesus through them. I will always remember his smile and lifting his hands like he was going to rest them on my shoulders.
I regret dropping out of his Bible class.he will always have a place in my heart as well as Pat.
Having moved to Florida, I only got to see Art at Riverside on our visits back to Boonville. He and Pat always greeted me as family returning home. He often was speaking on those Sundays and last visit I told him that God must have something for me to hear through him. My life is richer for having known him. Kevin and Dee Baker
Art was the one that introduced me to bocce ball. (What a fun game!) I will never forget playing with him in his lucky hat. (He was not at ALL competitive! 😉) Good times! We'll miss that a lot....
Art was a wonderful mentor to us as Mrs. Pat and he would take the time to come to our home on Thursday’s, sit at our table with a cup of coffee, and discuss the Bible. We were amazed at the memory recall and the quick quips that he was known for at Riverside. We will always cherish our times together with the Deys and consider them as family. So happy for you Mr. Art because you are truly home now but we must say, our hearts are heavy with the loss down here. Love you dearly.
Being greeted by Art each Sunday was always special and uplifting. His undeniable sincerity and kindness made us smile and realize how much he meant to each of us. I will certainly miss him and never forget him as the finest Christian I’ve known. Praying for his family.
Art always greeted you with a twinkle in his eye, a smile, and a ready quip. His love for his family, and his extended church family, was apparent in all he said and did. We were blessed to know Art in the last years of his life, and grateful to call him friend. While we miss him dreadfully on earth, we rejoice in his joy at being in the arms of Christ, and look forward to one more hug when we join him in heaven. -The Foster's
