Kentrell Minton, 38, of Columbia. MO, passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at University of Missouri Hospital. Funeral services will be private. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2020 from 11-3PM at St. Luke United Methodist church. The service will be streamed live at 1:00 pm on Sunday November 22, 2020, at https://m.facebook.com/htmayfuneralhome/. Kentrell D. Minton was born July 3, 1982 to the parents, Kenneth Minton and Wendy Givans in St. Louis, MO. He died at the age of 38 in the hospital in Columbia, MO. with family by his bedside. He was preceded in death by his Grandmother: Mattie Givans Grandfather: William Minton Sister: Shay Woods God Mother: Almeta Crayton Kentrell was educated in the St. Louis Public School system. He had a creative mind and he took a liking to construction work, which led him to attend St. Louis Job Corp. and he's been building houses ever since. He tried to help so many people which led him to take over the Almeta Crayton's Everybody Eats Program after she fell asleep in death in 2013. Soon after, he received the Humanitarian award in 2016 from the Black Men Rock in Columbia, MO. He also made donations to less fortunate ones. He leaves to cherish his loving memories and legacy for the children: Rashaam, Kentrell(JR) Khaeleanna, Zavier, Shantrelle, Vanessa, Tollyera, Josiah, Taleigha, Kyran an Brice He leaves to cherish his loving memories to his siblings: Ja'Juan, Brandon, Ashea, Trina (Hank) and Marcia (Play sister) of St. Louis, MO. and Cornelius Kansas City, MO., Ben Wells (grandfather), Margaret Minton (grandmother), 6 nieces and 12 nephews and a host of special aunts & uncles, cousins and friends.
