Sending condolences from the Nolte family. Our families were neighbors for many years and have lots of childhood memories of Buck and his family; that includes aggravating him sometimes as well, hehe ... he was a great guy!! He always told me I was the only one that could come in his yard or jump the fence to pick a tomato. He took great pride in his gardens and every once in a while, he'd sucker me in to helping him ;-). After the '93 flood he made it a point to stop by and visit with Grandma once in a while to talk about old time. They thoroughly enjoyed getting to reminisce; and I always enjoyed their stories. May God wrap his loving arms around all his family during this time and grant you the peace of understanding. God Bless!!
Jasper was the kindest, sweetest man I have ever known, he was my mother Shirlene Bagby's companion for years, my family and I came to love Jasper very much. Jasper came to visit us here in California on several occasions and we loved for Jasper to Bar b Que his famous mutton, no one could cook like Jasper. We haven't seen Jasper in a few years but we will truly miss him. We send our love and prayers to his family, God bless you all.

I remember Mr. Simmons from when he would sell fruits and vegetables to the employees at the Capitol. We also bought tomatoes from him in Cedar City. He was such a nice gentleman. My sincere sympathies to his family.

When I think of Jasper, he reminds me of everything about "home". He was my mother, Shirlene Bagby's, special companion for many years and was there to share just about every milestone in my life...high school and college graduation, my first road trips to California and Wisconsin, family gatherings playing Pokeno during the holidays, summer days in Cedar City picking greens from his garden and barbecuing mutton on the grill for my wedding rehearsal dinner!
I will remember Jasper as a kind-spirited man who worked hard and enjoyed the simple "country life".
To the family, may you find peace in memories and comfort in the love of God, family and friends.
Prayerfully Submitted,
Sherryl (Bagby) Blow

Mr Simmons was a good friend of my fathers and visited our home on many occasions. I remember him as "Buck" and he hunted many, many years with my father. They both loved coon hunting in Callaway county. I also remember him as a great gardener, I stopped many times to visit with him at his garden in what use to be Cedar City, now north Jefferson City. I am sure he will be sadly missed by many-----Sheryl Goff-Jurgensmeyer, Jefferson City, MO
