Was blessed to grow up in a neighborhood with so many children and such a neighbor as Vicki. We had a real life Sandlot kind of situation. Was good friends with Vicki's daughter Dawn and when I ate all the food in my house, knew I could go next door and Vicki would feed us as well. Felt just as home next door as I did in our house. Truly blessed to have know her and she will be missed. God bless
Vicki had the most powerful, beautiful voice. She could effortlessly belt out any tune. I knew her as a devout Christian and a good neighbor. I fondly recall the times we spent visiting on the lawn while our children played in a neighborhood straight out of the 1950’s. There was more than one occasion I called for her assistance to help my children while I was stuck at the office. A good friend, a good neighbor; fun times, fun memories. As the saying goes: “Gone but not forgotten.”
