I see he had grown some of it back…..lol! and when I left MO I had heard through the grapevine he had met a “special someone”wish we could have met….sending light and love to all…..namaste and blessings….
I first had the pleasure of meeting Mike when I moved to Columbia this past June. He was a terrific person, funny, caring. Mike, I’m sorry I didn’t get a chance to know you longer, but I am grateful for the time we did spend together. My condolences to his family, his many friends, and especially his very good friend Dr Beth Hussey.
Mike was part of the Magner crew that just completed some remodeling on our house. Mike was always friendly and outgoing and always found time to tell us a great story or listen to one of ours. Several times he brought Moe and Junior along to wait patiently while he worked. On several occasions, he stayed after work to share stories about dogs, current events, science discoveries, and a host of other diverse topics we found that we had in common. We did not know him for a great length of time but count him as a friend. We will miss him.
Mike was a great guy who always had a smile and an infectious laugh. I can still hear it from 20 some years ago. Love you Mike, You will be missed.
Mike and I lost touch over the years. But I will never forget his awesome personality and the good times we shared together. I know he will be missed by all that knew him.
We were so sorry to hear about Mike. He spent almost a month at our house over the years working on various remodeling projects with Robyn Magner’s crew. Mike always had a ready smile and we had a chance to talk with him with him quite a bit. Mike and the rest of the crew weren’t stereotypic construction guys – I came home one day at lunch and found them having a lively discussion of the latest article they had read in the Smithsonian magazine. He will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure to meet him. You have our sincere condolences and may God grant you peace.
To Brigid Vesecky we would like to say how wonderful it was to have known your son. He had worked on many projects around our home and it was always a pleasure to greet the mornings with his charming smile and conversation. The way he interacted with Moe and our dogs we could tell he was a loving person and seemed to have a zest for life. He’ll be sorely missed.
