James Shipley, 99, of Tipton, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022, at his home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at First Baptist Church in Tipton at 1PM. Visitation will be from 11-1PM Saturd Read Obituary
He will be missed by so many. My father would always stop by his home and visit with him when my father would umpire there in Tipton MO. He always told us the best stories. He was such a wonderful man a true Hero and one I will always remember his stories. May you Rest In Peace Mr. Shipley. You will never be forgotten.
I had the pleasure and distinct honor of meeting Mr Shipley at an air show in Jefferson City . What a national treasure he was . Just listening to him speak I was captivated how truly humble he was . It is that very reason that is why they are " The greatest Generation " . I am so very sorry for your loss but for our nations loss . God soeed Mr. Shipley !
