He was one of my oldest friends at CPS Bus driving. 14 years. He was a great listenter, and you all know how much I love to talk. He was my "Soul Brother" literally. We loved to listen to old school Classic Soul. He had a falscetto like David Ruffin. He didn't say much, but he sang all the time. He looked a bit rough and tough, but he had the sweetest spirit. I shall mis "Uncle Herschell" (what I always called him, I had an Uncle Herschell years ago. I liked to call him by that name. He never seemed to mind. We walked together many a mile, up and down to out busses. I feel a deep sense of loss. Thanks for posting this.
